Testo Integrale / Concept dell'Opera:Ispirata dall'intensità e dai contrasti di New York City, "Mixed Emotions" è nata da un periodo di riflessione seguito al ritorno a casa. Le nuove esperienze portano spesso con sé curiosità ed entusiasmo, ma anche incertezza e vulnerabilità. L'opera esplora la tensione tra attrazione ed esitazione, tra il desiderio di scoprire e l'istinto di aggrapparsi a ciò che ci è familiare. La paura, in questo contesto, non riguarda il pericolo, ma il momento esatto in cui ci rendiamo conto che le nuove esperienze possono cambiare il modo in cui vediamo il mondo — e, forse, noi stessi.Inspired by the intensity and contrasts of New York City, "Mixed Emotions" emerged from a period of reflection after returning home. New experiences often bring curiosity and excitement, but also uncertainty and vulnerability. The work explores the tension between attraction and hesitation, between the desire to discover and the instinct to hold on to what is familiar. Fear, in this context, is not about danger, but about the moment we realize that new experiences can change the way we see the world — and perhaps ourselves.
